Apples in schools supported by Perry Foundation and Metro Motors

This year 21 Project Energize schools receive apples each week under a scheme supported by Perry Foundation and Metro Motors.

Apples subsidised by a Perry Foundation grant are delivered to the schools each Monday through the support of Metro Motors of Hamilton, who supply their zippy Metro Motors car and a large trailer. Each week the Metro Motors car and trailer can be seen on the road between Hamilton, Tokoroa, Te Awamutu and Paeroa and then in the afternoon the Hamilton apples are delivered.
