Bio
Paul Fear is a founding member of the Board of Trustees and was Trust chairman from 1988 to 2002.
A former Hilary Commissioner and Chairman of the New Zealand Network of Sports Trusts, Paul has extensive experience in both national and regional sport and leisure administration. Paul has been a director of the Waikato Rugby Union and trustee of the Waikato Stadium Trust Board, responsible for the funding, design and building of this $42 million project.
He has over 30 years experience in retailing and wholesaling, during which he established New Zealand’s largest independent chain of fruit and vegetable retail outlets. Currently the co-ordinator of the Business Development Unit for WINTEC, Paul is responsible for the commercialisation of WINTEC’s training and up-skilling solutions.
Paul is currently semi retired and acts as a business consultant.
