Te Awamutu Rose Garden Walk

Mainly a flat walk with no steps. Parking, toilets and picnic tables available.

 

Time: 20 mins

 

Wheelchair Access: Yes, with a friend or caregiver

Leamington Walkway

By following the marked route you will experience treed avenues, river valleys, wood gullies and natural wetlands. The complete route back to this point is 8.4km. 


Walkway signs along the route indicate your position and distance into the walk, but you may begin or complete your walk at any point. 


The walk is suitable for leisure type footwear and included steps to gradients and stiles over fences. Users will need to use these facilities with care.


Hazards
You may need to be aware of falling branches in some areas and slippery conditions underfoot, especially in windy conditions.

Cambridge Lake Te Koutu Walkway

A very pleasant walk with a waterfall to view. Mainly flat surface. Toilets and parking also available.

Cambridge Waterfall Walkway

A challenging walk with a view of a waterfall. Parking available at the Riverside Reserve and toilets available in Dominion Ave. Steps are steep.
